I’m Elisa. I’ve been doing this for fifteen years and I still get nervous before a wedding. Not the bad kind of nervous — the kind that means you care. Before photography there was music, theater, a stage. I learned to read a room before I learned to read light. I show up with mismatched socks and a bag that looks like Mary Poppins packed it — because in fifteen years I’ve learned that somewhere between the ceremony and the dancing, something always goes sideways, and I’ll probably already have what you need. The safety pin. The tissue. The right word at the wrong moment. My husband Piero shoots alongside me. We work with natural light, real moments, no forced poses and no turning people into furniture. Our couples say they forgot we were there. That they laughed when they were about to cry. That they felt held, not photographed. We’re based in Sicily. We travel everywhere. I can not recommend Elisa enough for anyone interested in getting professional pictures done. I was visiting Taormina from New York with my girlfriend, and contacted Elisa to take pictures of our proposal. From the very second I contacted her on Instagram she was extremely responsive and helpful. There is no way I could have pulled off the proposal without her help. She gave me recommendations on location, timing, what to do, Etc. I seriously can not thank her enough for making this such a smooth and enjoyable process. She was incredible!!! The photos also came out beautiful. My girlfriend and I have pictures to capture our special moment for a lifetime.
